This web site is dedicated to the literary works of Thomas J. Morrow, author and award-winning newspaper reporter and columnist for the North County Times in coastal San Diego County, California. Morrow graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in journalism, and for the past 41 years has worked at a number of daily and weekly newspapers throughout the West, including 10 years in public relations and advertising. He served as the first vice president for communications at the historic Hotel del Coronado during the 1980s and owned a small advertising and PR agency in San Diego until 1988 when he returned to newspapers.

In 1991, he joined the daily Blade-Citizen (now the North County Times) as a business editor in Oceanside, California . He became that newspaper's daily columnist in 1992, slowing down to a weekly column in 2007, while pursuing his novel writing.

He has a doctorate in marketing communications and for five years taught advertising and public relations at Mira Costa College in Oceanside. Previously, Morrow taught for three years at National University in San Diego, and lectured for various sessions at Cal State San Marcos' Elderhostel program.

Since 1996, he has produced two 30-minute television programs each month, "Living Legacies," which airs daily on KOCT-TV. Morrow interviews area residents about their life's accomplishments and experiences. Some of these stories have made their way into his non-fiction book, "For Love of Their Country." His first novel, "Nebraska Doppelganger," is in its third printing. “Doppelganger” sequel, “The Secret at Beckham Manor,” is in its second printing, and the third novel with James H. Martin, “The Beacon on Kill Devil Hill” was debuted in August 2009.
